Lab Publications
The Kennedy LIFE lab at University of Idaho maintains active and productive research across a wide array of ecological topics, many of which have been published in top tier journals.
While the focus of our research is fish population ecology, lab members have published on topics spanning a wide range of abiotic and biotic affects on aquatic systems in Idaho and around the world. Much of our research is interdisciplinary, with collaborations from law, to geology and music. The lab has also pioneered new methods in otolith and hard part microchemistry, publishing numerous studies using isotopic and elemental tracers to determine location and movement in fish.
