An article published today by the Idaho Statesman highlights the recent sonification researched published in Heliyon. The article is a clear and compelling description of Jens Hegg's recent Ph.D. work using sound as a method for exploring large datasets of fish movement obtained from otoliths. It's definitely worth a read.
The article is written by Kevin Davenport, a 2018 AAAS Mass Media Science and Engineering Fellow at the Idaho Statesman and an experimental physicist from University of Utah.
